Autism and Neurodevelopment Clinic

The Autism and Neurodevelopment Clinic is a multidisciplinary clinic that brings together a campus and community-wide collaboration of clinicians, researchers and families to foster excellence in clinical care for children and families with ASD. It is staffed by specialists in psychology, neuro-psychology, and developmental/behavioral pediatrics. It is part of a university- wide effort to also foster clinical research and basic science research into the clinical and biological underpinnings of these disorders.

The broad objectives of the program include:

Autism Clinic

  1. Providing a state-of-the-art multidisciplinary center for the evaluation and diagnosis of ASD
  2. Working closely with families and community outreach, and
  3. Fostering clinical training and research efforts.

The Autism and Neurodevelopment Clinic provides:

  • Diagnostic evaluations by an interdisciplinary team
  • Cognitive, developmental, adaptive functioning, and speech/language assessments
  • Neuropsychological assessments
  • Developmental behavioral pediatrics evaluation
  • Genetic, laboratory and neuroimaging referrals as needed
  • Follow-up care
  • Medication consultation
  • Social Skills and Therapy Services

Clinic Information

We see patients from infancy through adulthood with developmental difficulties for whom autism spectrum disorder is considered.
